Is a gilet the same as a bodywarmer?
There is actually no difference between a gilet or a bodywarmer. They are the exact same thing but just named differently. Occasionally, you may find that bodywarmer is used to describe a vest that is fleeced or a softshell material, whilst a gilet is used to describe insulated pieces. At American Golf, we stick to ‘gilets’ or ‘vests’ to describe all of our sleeveless jackets.
